The Barrel Tavern, Burien a rock/blues/funk jam run by hot-shot drummer Doug McGrew
    Silver Dollar, Mill Creek.  Funk, R&B, Blues run by Trombonist Randy Oxford.  The Drummer is Andrew Cloutier of Left Hand Smoke.
    Owl & Thistle (this one starts about 10 and is light be-bop and funky jazz).  

    Wednesdays:  
       North Seattle Community College Music Performance Stage.  I just made the audition to play drums in the Fred Radke Big Band.  Fred is the leader and lead trumpet for the Harry James Orchestra.  Fred's Wednesdays are not a jam. He uses them to prepare for concerts. The general public should not sneak into the theater to spy on the comedy & fireworks.  But you're not the general public, right? 
   Daman's, Redmond, Run by Linda Lane.  Since joining the Fred Radke Big Band, I won't be hitting this anymore, but it's a fun open mike. Rappers, comics, and musicians are welcome.  Skill levels vary wildly.  All are treated the same.

    Thursdays:  
   Legends, West Seattle.  Blues R&B Rock.  Great house drummer, Rick Spanner, who makes his own drums out of exotic woods.
   Ballard Jam House, Open Jam starts at 9pm
   Ev Stern runs a pros-mixing-with-jazz-students of all ages jazz-jam after an earlier performance
   by Ev's Jazz Workshop students.
   Waldo's, Kirkland  This just started.  I haven't hit it, yet.  It's billed as Rock, Pop, and Blues
